Modalities of the Assessment of Theoretical/Practical Courses
Major Papers
Case 1: (5+0+1) credit course i.e. Theoretical (T-Type) papers (Full Marks 90 with distribution- Theory 75, IA 15)
75 marks in theoretical part will be assessed in End-Semester examination.
IA 15 marks will be assessed through continuous evaluation by Internal teachers only.
Case 2: (4+2+0) credit course i.e. Combined (C-Type) papers (Full Marks 90 with distribution- Theory 60, Practical 30)
60 marks in theoretical part will be assessed in End-Semester examination.
Practical 30 marks will be assessed through continuous/external/internal evaluation.
Case 3: (0+6+0) credit course i.e. Practical (S-Type) papers (Full Marks 90)
Marks distributed (tentatively) as under:
Internal Assessment: 15 Marks
Viva: 05 Marks
Experiment: 70 Marks
